Spear & Jackson 1800W Power Washer – Installation

Before You Start
Before assembling the power washer, ensure that:
- All components are present and undamaged.
- The water supply is available and turned off.
- The power switch is in the OFF position.
- The machine is placed on a stable, level surface.
- You have appropriate eye and hearing protection available.
Step 1: Unpack the Power Washer
Remove all components from the packaging and verify that you have:
- High pressure hose
- Foam bottle
- Patio cleaner accessory
- Fixed brush accessory
- Patio cleaner lance
- Extension lance
- Spray gun
- High pressure washer
- Adjustable & turbo nozzles
- Storage for cord & hose
- Extension lance storage
- Spray gun storage
- Instruction manuals
- Screwdriver
- Hose connector
Step 2: Connect the High-Pressure Hose
- Locate the high-pressure outlet on the front of the washer.
- Attach the high-pressure hose to the outlet.
Press the button & pull to release the hose.
Step 3: Install the Water Inlet Connector
- Locate the water inlet on the rear of the machine.
- Attach the supplied inlet connector.
- Hand-tighten the fitting securely.
- Do not overtighten with tools.
Press the red button and pull to release.
Step 4: Connect the Garden Hose
- Connect your garden hose to the inlet connector.
- Ensure all fittings are secure.
- Turn on the water supply.
- Check for any leaks before proceeding.
Step 5: Install the Smart Spray Gun
- Unscrew the battery lid
- Install two AAA batteries
- Refit the battery lid
- Use the red button to switch modes.
- Insert the other end of the hose into the gun
Step 6: Connect the Power Supply
- Confirm the ON/OFF switch is set to OFF.
- Plug the power washer into a suitable mains socket.
- Ensure the cable is positioned away from water and walkways.
Step 7: Start the Power Washer
- Turn on the water supply fully.
- Unlock the safety trigger on the spray gun.
- Squeeze the trigger until water flows steadily.
- Switch the machine to the ON position.
- Press the trigger to begin pressure washing.
Step 8: Adjust the Spray Pattern
Depending on your model and attachment:
- Use a wider spray for vehicles and delicate surfaces.
- Use a narrower spray for tougher cleaning jobs.
- Always test the spray on an inconspicuous area first.
