This article covers a soft fix you can perform to prevent the belt sander from jamming or the belt from slipping off.
It is very important that the belt is installed properly before starting up your machine. We recommend that you check that this is ready before starting up your product for the first time.
Firstly, please turn the sanding belt manually. This will help determine if it is attached correctly and not willing to slip off. If after this you determine the belt needs to be tighter/looser then please follow these steps:
- Please locate the 3mm allen wrench (this is the smallest tool in the set provided).
- Once located proceed to locate the three small holes on your machine. These can be seen in the image below.
- Using the wrench, insert this into each of the holes to change the status of the belt until you find the optimal setting for your product.
