This article will cover the procedure of assembling the handles of the electric lawnmower.
This problem depends on which model you have. The most common issue is with the 'quick-release clamps' half-way down your handles, where the upper handles connect with the lower.
These do fix correctly, as long as you have got the parts assembled in the correct order:
^EXAMPLE See The Photo Above. The same mechanism applies for all lawnmowers with the 'quick release clamps'
- Ensure that you insert the bolt from the inside of the handles, so that the head of the bolt is on the inside - as circled in red above.
- Ensure that you have placed a washer on the outside of the handles, so that the washer is flush against the outside - as circled in green above.
- Then, you screw the 'quick release clamp' lever onto the bolt thread.
- Screw it until you have the desired tightness - then press down on the lever, as indicated above as '1' and '2'.
Please attempt this procedure as closely and carefully as possible. You should find that the bolt provided is long enough. However, if you have tried this to the best of your abilities and the bolt is still not sufficient in length, then please contact our technical helpline.
Connecting Lower Handles to Mower
Another common issue is being unable to secure the lower handle parts to the lawnmower. Again, this varies depending on the model. If it is meant to slot in place and be fixed by screws, make sure that the handle is fully inserted. This may require some force.
